Cassidy Jones has been writing stories since she was thirteen years old— when her “unique style” involved typing in Helvetica, bold, and bright purple. Thankfully, her storytelling has come a long way since then.
A lifelong lover of character-driven fiction, Cassidy writes fiction that leans into emotion, atmosphere, and the kind of small details that make ordinary lives extraordinary. Her debut novel, Rise, is both a love letter and a homecoming: to family, to community, and to the coastal settings that linger long after the tide goes out.
When she isn’t writing, Cassidy can usually be found with a book in one hand and a mug of coffee in the other, playing character-driven video games, or losing herself in a new TV series. She currently lives in Atlantic Canada with her partner and two young sons.
